Privacy notice

SGC TECH AI (“we”, “us”) is the data controller for personal information collected through this website and the UAE AI & Tech Adoption Index 2026 research programme. This notice explains what we collect, why, and your rights under the UAE Personal Data Protection Law (Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021, “PDPL”).

What we collect

When you submit a participation request or subscribe for early access, we collect the information you provide — typically your name, work email, organization, role, sector, country, and any notes. We may also process anonymous, aggregated analytics about how the site is used.

Why we use it

We process your data on the basis of your consent (when you tick the consent box) and our legitimate interest in conducting the research. We use it to: contact you about the interview, send the report and embargoed access, and produce aggregated, de-identified findings.

Who sees it

Your responses are read only by the named SGC TECH AI research team. Individual answers and organizations are never published or shared with third parties without your explicit, written permission. Aggregated, de-identified data may be published as part of the Index.

Storage and retention

Personal data is stored on secure infrastructure and retained only for as long as needed to complete the research and deliver the report — and in any case no longer than 36 months from collection, unless you ask us to delete it sooner.

Your rights

Under the PDPL you have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of your personal data, to withdraw consent at any time, and to lodge a complaint with the UAE Data Office. To exercise any of these rights, email bran@sgctec.ai.
